Trip of a Lifetime anthology
Size limit: 5,000 words
Submissions are now open for Trip of a Lifetime, a themed Sleeping Cat Books anthology to be published in December 2012. This anthology will be published as both a paperback edition and an ebook edition of short fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. We will consider any genre, as long as the submission relates directly to the theme described below. No pornographic content, or any material that would be considered beyond the level of a rated R movie.
Please include a bio paragraph written in third person in the cover letter of your submission.
Fiction/Nonfiction: no more than 5,000 words.
Poetry: any form.
Deadline for submission: 31 August 2012
Theme: Trip of a Lifetime
The theme for this anthology is taking a trip. This can be a trip across the country, across the world, across the galaxy—it's up to you how you interpret taking the "trip of a lifetime." (Cover image below subject to change prior to publication.)
Submission fee: Free
Contributor compensation: Those whose work is chosen for inclusion will receive one complimentary copy of the anthology, and will also be eligible to purchase copies at 40% of the retail list price plus S&H for up to one month after the anthology's release date.
